You get

A consolidated series reference you can review and save for future writing or collaboration.

Keep your original compendiums. You may lose some detail in consolidation, and you cannot recover information missing from the files you provide.

Return to your series with confidence.

You can enjoy returning to the people and places your readers already know. Bring that background together before deciding what comes next.

  • Follow the history beyond one volume

You feel at home with returning people and places, even after time away from the series.

  • When the next book calls

You can look forward to a growing series without dreading a growing pile of reference files.

Before you start

Do I upload my novels here?

You can leave your novels on the shelf. You need compendium files here, not full manuscripts. Character Compendium and Location Compendium are included in your membership too.

Can I combine different kinds of compendiums?

Yes. You can stay connected to your cast and your wider world together.

What if my files are older?

You do not have to abandon the references you made years ago.

Will it preserve every detail and catch every contradiction?

You can welcome the help without giving up your judgment. Do not rely on it to preserve every detail or catch every contradiction. A consolidated reference can be less detailed than its sources. Review important history and possible conflicts against the original references and books.

Is my work private?

Yes. Author Media does not store, track, or view anything you post to this tool. The tools reach each AI through its business API with privacy set to the maximum, so the AI companies do not train on your words.
